Third-generation home builder Ace Bollinger, who took over the company from his father, Jay, about eight years ago, builds five or six custom homes a year. Bollinger was part of a 40-member group that in October made 18 recommendations for “common sense” changes to help solve the Valley’s housing crisis. The group — Our Valley Our Future Housing Solutions Group — is in the process of presenting its findings to city, county and state policy makers.
