WENATCHEE — One of the largest office-supply retailers in North Central Washington has announced it will close after more than two decades in business.
Food entrepreneurs Kandis Nestor and David Spann, owners of the healthy-food truck Ra in Walla Walla Point Park, have expanded their flavorful offerings to downtown Wenatchee.
WENATCHEE — Does the Wenatchee Valley really need another Mexican restaurant? Robby Tonkin, whose family-run Taco Time Northwest owns 44 Taco Time restaurants in Washington, answered last month with an enthusiastic: “Yes — if that restaurant brings something unique to the market.”
WENATCHEE — January 5 will be the last day of work for all but a handful of the 428 employees at Alcoa’s Wenatchee Works smelter, a top union official said Nov. 24. Elected officials in New York, meanwhile, announced they had reached an agreement with Alcoa to keep open for three more years one of the smelters slated for closure.
