Central Washington Hospital has been named 2018 Most Wired by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). HealthCare’s Most Wired, now in its 20th year, identifies best practices and promotes the strategic use of healthcare IT to elevate the health and care of communities around the world. The award was for Confluence Health’s use of firewalls, disposing properly of devices with personal healthcare information, use of online surveys and online tools to improve patient convenience and more.

Douglas County PUD awarded project electrical foreman Steve Babcock with its 25-year service award.

Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett was recently appointed by Gov. Jay Inslee to the Board of Commissioners of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC).

New jobs, new faces

Manson School District has announced Manson School Board member Aurora Flores was selected as new president of the Washington State School Director’s Association (WSSDA).

Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth announced a couple of recent promotions and hires. Shawn Ottley was promoted to the position of new chief clinical officer and Louise Regan was promoted to quality data specialist. New hires include Jenny Graham, physical therapy assistant in aquatic therapy and rehab services; and Sarah Peery, occupational therapist in rehab services department for inpatient rehab and outpatient occupational therapy.

Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC has announced the addition of Jen Carey as a paraprofessional. Carey brings 25 years of experience to the firm. She is a member of the American Payroll Association and her area of expertise includes payroll and quarterly reports for external clients, as well as internal accounts receivable and collections for the firm.

North Cascades Bank has announced the addition of Ann George and Cathy Rixey to its staff. George will serve as vice president, real estate loan manager, and Rixey as assistant vice president, real estate loan officer.

Caliber Home Loans recently opened an office in Wenatchee led by branch manager Patrick Davidson. The office’s team of loan consultants will serve borrowers in the Chelan and Douglas counties area.

Moises Bacerra recently passed his property and causality insurance test and joined Allstate Insurance

Ken Reid has joined Sunny FM as an account executive. He has years of experience in the broadcast/media industry working on-air and sales/marketing/promotion departments with stations in the Northwest.
