Jessi Mendoza has joined Numerica Credit Union as a small business loan officer. Previously a financial services representative at the East Wenatchee Numerica branch, Mendoza has been in the in the finance industry for over nine years.

Stephanie Hinkle, D.P.T, has joined Associates in Physical Therapy as a staff physical therapist. An Eastmont High School graduate, she was recently awarded a doctorate in physical therapy from University of Washington.

Shannon Collins-Barnes has joined First American Title at the Chelan branch, as well as the second escrow office at that location.

Chris Rasmussen has joined Mel Henkle CPA as a Certified Public Accountant. Rasmussen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Washington University and obtained his CPA license in 2011. He’s previously worked as an accountant for Clifton Larson Allen and as a controller for Blue Star Growers.

Cathy Meuret has joined North Central Educational Service District as their new school nurse corps administrator. Meuret has over 37 years of experience in the industry and in 2011 was a recipient of the North Central Washington Nurse of the Year Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Jeremy French has been appointed to branch manager of the Wenatchee Financial Center of Peoples Bank. French was raised in Wenatchee and received a general business degree from Wenatchee Valley College.

Jessie Simmons, former Historic Downtown Chelan Association executive director, has joined Coldwell Banker Lake Chelan Properties and the Guy Evans Real Estate team as a new Realtor. Simmons stepped down as executive director of HDCA in December. Prior to HDCA, she worked in the advertising industry.

Laura Mounter Real Estate & Co:

Kailey Hofstetter joined Laura Mounter Real Estate as their newest agent.

Sue Smith is joining Laura Mounter with 36 years of experience in the real estate industry, 31 of them as a certified real estate appraiser and consultant. She specializes in all types of real estate.

Russell J. Speidel has been re-appointed by the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors to another three-year term on the Board of Directors of Northwest Justice Project. Speidel currently serves as board treasurer.

First American Title:

Hannah Rayfield was recently promoted to senior title assistant at the Wenatchee branch.

Anne Marasa was promoted to branch manager at the Chelan branch.

Douglas County Fire District No. 2:

Dave Burdett was recently promoted to the position of volunteer lieutenant. Burdett has been with the district for 25 years. He is also a full-time electrician.

Ted Martin was recently promoted to the position of volunteer lieutenant. Martin has been a member of the district for 12 years. He earned his para-medicine certifications as a paramedic for Lifeline Ambulance.

Attorney David J. Bentsen of Speidel Bentsen law firm presented at a Washington State Bar Association seminar in Seattle on Dec. 8. His topic was “Estate Planning for Indian Tribal Members by the Non-Indian Law Attorney.”

Kris Loomis, managing principal, CPA, and CVA of Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC, attended the Executive Lean Leadership Retreat at the Virginia Mason Institute in Seattle on Jan. 11 and 12. Loomis attended on behalf of the Confluence Health Board of Directors, of which she serves as chairwoman.

Firefighter and EMTs Steve Saugen, Tyee Zacher and Taylor Rains with Chelan Fire and Rescue have successfully completed their probationary year and have been promoted to firefighter 3rd Class.
