Health Alliance recently named Katie Berschauer, Heather Brownlee, Austyn Heinlein, Jim Heinlein, and Tiffany Zemke, all of Senior Insurance Group in Wenatchee, as preferred Medicare Advantage agents.

Eric Pierson, Josh Patrick, Penny Goehner and Jill FitzSimmons, all of Chelan County Public Works, were recently honored with the Achieving Dreams through Empowered Public Works Teams Award at the American Public Works Association’s fall conference in Kennewick. The award recognized Chelan County Public Works for its public communications efforts.

Kathy Z. Smithson, of Smithson Insurance Services in East Wenatchee, has been selected to serve an additional three-year term on the Life & Disability Agent/Broker Advisory Committee to the Washington State Insurance Commissioner’s Advisory Council.

Draggoo Financial celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony Oct. 20. Mayor Frank Kuntz and contractors Whitebird Construction and Complete Design took part in the festivities. The first level of the new building will be the permanent home of Draggoo Financial and second and third stories will be apartments available for rent in the summer of 2018.

Tracy Bacon recently joined Forte Architects. Bacon is a licensed Architect in Washington and Oregon with over 15 years of experience in the building design field.

Shalea Daniels has joined Lemongrass Natural Foods as a sales associate. Daniels has previous experience in the herbal sciences and a passion for natural, sustainable living.

Cyndy Jaynes was recently hired by Wenatchee Standard Paint and Flooring as a designer. Jaynes has over 27 years of design experience.

Audra McDaniel has taken on new responsibilities in export compliance for the Washington Apple Commission. McDaniel has been with the commission for two years.

Nick Peterson was recently hired by Biosports as a physical therapy aide. Peterson earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology from Central Washington University and has served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Carson D. McDonald recently joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative. McDonald is a 2014 graduate of Central Washington University and was a former assistant manager for the Riverfront Rock Gym.

Tana Wood has rejoined Coldwell Banker LaVigne. Wood has worked in local real estate for over 14 years and was rated in Coldwell Banker’s the top 3 percent worldwide for her outstanding production in 2007.

Robert Johnson, senior vice president and financial advisor at D.A. Davidson & Co. of Wenatchee, was named to the company’s President’s Club. The club recognizes employees for outstanding integrity and service to clients.

Lorena Villela (Urrutia), of Allstate Insurance Brad Huddle Agency in Wenatchee, celebrated her 20th year working for the company Nov. 11. The agency recognizes Villela as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor for its customers.

Healthgrades named Confluence Health’s Central Washington Hospital as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for orthopedic surgery and for spine surgery. Central Washington Hospital is the only hospital in the state to receive both awards.

Madison Cook recently joined Biosports Physical Therapy as a physical therapy aide. Cook is also working toward attaining a degree in physical therapy.

Brendon Destito, Kelvin Fox and Kevin Highfield, all of Okanogan District 6 State Patrol, were sworn in Nov. 2 at the Capitol Rotunda in Olympia.
